ABOUT
With so much nutritional information out there, how do we know what sources to trust? The media, instagram influencers, public figures and even gyms can really confuse the healthy eating messages nutritionists and dietitians are trying to convey.

I completed the Bachelor of Nutrition Science degree at Deakin University and the Master of Dietetics from the University of Queensland and am currently working as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Through my studies I have learnt to critically analyse nutrition research and have been given the fundamental knowledge based on evidence based information to reduce disease risk and improve nutritional status.

I currently work in a rehabilitation hospital and see inpatients daily for malnutrition, enteral nutrition, spinal injury, brain injury, chronic disease management such as renal failure and liver disease, weight management and discharge planning, so patients can return home with appropriate supports.

I also work in the gastroenterology outpatient clinic where I have experience managing and investigating patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) symptoms. I am able to help identify trigger and provide appropriate recommendations to manage symptoms.
I understand everyone is unique and will adjust my recommendations based on your goals, lifestyle and resources available. I want you to have the tools to carve your own path, away from the unhealthy marketing messages, unreliable sources and the fad diets and be in a state where you can make confident informed choices about what you are eating and have a positive relationship with your food.
Much love,
Hayleigh x
